To have a good death and the hereafter, one must be careful of one's actions in this world. Some actions in the world reduce the difficulty of death. Reading Surah Yasin in the Holy Quran is one of those deeds that has many virtues. Surah Yasin is mentioned in the narrations to the heart of the Quran. The purpose of Surah Yasin is to express the three principles of religion (monotheism, prophecy and resurrection). Humans can recite Yasin both for the Hereafter and in the opening of their deeds in this world, and they can also benefit from the blessings of Surah Yasin for the people of graves and sending its reward to them. Whoever recites Surah Yasin in the graveyard, the torment of the "people of the grave" of that graveyard will be reduced, and the reward will be written for the reciter according to the number of dead, and the calamities of this world and the torments of the Hereafter will be averted from him. The direction of this surah is called "repulsion". It has been narrated from Prophet Mohammad (PBUH): Whoever recites Surah Yasin is like reciting the Qur'an ten times. They also say: Whoever recites Surah Yasin for the pleasure of God, God will forgive him. And the reward will be given to him like the 12th recitation of the Qur'an, and if it is recited to the patient on the verge of death, 10 angels will line up with him according to the number of letters of this surah and ask for his forgiveness, witness his soul and bury his body. They have prayed for him and are witnessing his burial.
