Hamsaz is for couples who want to know, before they marry, what they should talk about — and how.
Each of you answers 56 questions on your own phone. The questions are drawn from three well-known instruments: personality traits, attachment style, and eight domains of shared life (money, family, children, roles, religion, leisure, intimacy, and how you handle conflict). Then one of you generates a QR code and the other scans it. The joint report is built on that same phone.
What Hamsaz does not do:
There is no "compatibility percentage" and no pass or fail score. The largest study ever run on this question (Joel et al., 2020) found that the similarity between two people’s personalities predicts essentially nothing about the future of their relationship. Any app that hands you a number has invented that number.
What Hamsaz gives you:
A map of your differences: where the gaps are, how those gaps usually show up in daily life, and which specific questions to raise with each other. The report is written with your own names and is made for conversation, not for judgement.
Privacy:
Your answers never leave your phone. There is no server, no account is required, and the transfer between the two phones happens through that QR code. One button erases everything. The app does not request the internet permission at all.
Price:
The individual questionnaire and the personal report are free. The joint couple report is a one-time in-app purchase.
