Surah Dhariyat is the fifty-first surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Qur'an, which is located in the 26th and 27th parts of the Qur'an. The plural form of dhariyat means wind. The main theme of Surah Dhariyat is Resurrection. In this surah, monotheism and God's signs in creation, the angels' party in the house of Abraham (AS) and their mission to torment the people of Lot, the story of Moses (AS) and the history of the people of Ad, the people of Thamud and the people of Noah are also discussed in this surah.
