A name to call for a lifetime.

Namchin is a Persian-language app that helps you choose a baby name and bring your family's preferences together. Parents, aunts, uncles and other invited relatives can take part in the decision.

• Create a family room: the father or mother creates the room and invites relatives using their phone numbers.

• Explore names: view available meanings and origins, then reject, like or heart each name. Use name filters to narrow the options to your preferences.

• Find shared favorites: parental agreement appears first, other family agreements are also shown, and names everyone likes are clearly highlighted.

• Manage member permissions: the room creator decides who can view individual likes and hearts, invite others or select the final name. Shared agreements are visible to room members, while rejected names remain private.

• Sign in with your own phone number: use a verification code valid for five minutes and return to rooms linked to your account from another phone.

• Review My Choices: revisit your own likes and hearts in one place.

Each member starts with 100 free choices. In-app packs provide additional choices for members of the same room.

The name catalogue and available meanings are based on reviewed Civil Registration data. A name's appearance in the app does not guarantee official registration or indicate popularity.
