Mohammad Reza Taheri was born in Farahan, Arak.

Mohammad Reza Taheri is the son of Mohammad Taghi Taheri, one of the old admirers of Tehran and the third child of the family. As a young man, he participated in the Iran-Iraq war and, in addition to his cultural, photographic, and eulogy works.

The peak of Mohammad Reza Taheri's fame is related to the 70's and his remarkable eulogy activity during these years, especially in Tehran's Cotton Hosseinieh located at Dolab Gate. In this decade, in addition to famous people in the religious and ritual fields, famous media figures such as Seyyed Kazem Ahmadzadeh and football players such as Mehdi Mahdavi Kia used to visit the meetings of Mohammad Reza Taheri and Hosseinieh Panbehchi. Hosseinieh Panbehchi was established in 1342 by Morteza Panbechi and in 1375 it was renovated by his son Ali Panbechi.
