Michelangelo, Donatello, Raphael and Leonardo are the four main characters of the TMNT series, who have the same origin despite their different characterization. These were four turtles in their normal lives who were transformed into humanoid beings due to exposure to a mutagenic substance. Under Splinter's training, the master mutant turtles become skilled and powerful ninjas and fight against various enemies alongside characters such as Prill O'Neill and Casey Jones.
