Hello! Wall Chess is a strategic board game that is different from
traditional chess. The game is more like Quoridor or a competitive routing game
than chess, although the name may be misleading.
Here I write the description and rules of this game for you:
## ♟️ Description of the wall game (Wall Chess/Quoridor)
Wall Game is an abstract and competitive strategy game for two to
four players. The main goal of the game is to get your piece to the finish line
on the opposite side of the board before your opponent. What makes this game
exciting is the use of walls. On their turn, players can either move their
piece or place a wall on the screen to lengthen the opponent's path or open a
safe path for themselves.
This game is a combination of speed, spatial tactics and
predicting the opponent's movements.
## 📜 Rules of the wall game (2 player
version)
### 1. Layout and play equipment
* Game board: a square board with 9x9 squares (like chess).
* Piece: Each player has one piece.
* Walls: In 2-player mode, each player gets 10 walls (pieces
of wood or plastic that are as long as two houses).
* Start: Each player places his checker in the middle house of the
first row close to him. The walls are placed in a special place or next to the
screen.
### 2. game turn
* The starting player (determined by agreement or draw) starts the
game.
* Each player can only do one of the following two things in his
turn:
1. Moving the
nut.
2. Placing a new
wall.
### 3. Movement of the nut
* Pieces can only move one space per turn in the four main
directions (forward, backward, left or right).
* Diagonal (diagonal) movement is not allowed.
* Jumping over the wall is not allowed.
### 4. Placing the wall
* The player can place his wall in any empty space on the screen to
block the opponent's path or make his own path safe.
* Each wall must block two houses in length or width.
* The main rule of the wall: when placing a wall, you should not
completely block the opponent's path. There must always be at least one open
path for the opponent to move to the finish line.
* Placed walls cannot be moved.
### 5. The goal of the game and the end
* Objective: The first player who can get his piece to any of the
houses in the last row (opponent's starting line) wins the game.
