About the Game

Occupy the Land is a two players turn based game which the goal for each player is to occupy as much as of the game board they can. While the game is very simple, sometimes choosing the correct strategy and route to win can be hard. This is game is affected by luck, becasue when starting a new game, the game board is generated randomly.
At start, the game board cells are filled randomly from eight existing colors. The starting point for one player is one of the game board corners and the other player starts on the opposite corner. The players who starts first is also chosen randomly . Each player on his/her turn selects a color, this results that all of his/her already occupied cells change color to the new color and all of the unoccupied neighbor cells with the same color also get occupied by him/her. The selected color on each turn can't be same color as his/her current color or the opponent's color. At the end, the winner is the player who has occupied at least half plus one of the game board cells. Game can end in a draw if both players occupy half of the game board cells.
