Surah Hadid is the fifty-seventh surah and one of the civil surahs, which is in the 27th chapter of the Qur'an. The naming of this surah is due to the mention of Hadid (iron) in verse 25. In this surah, topics such as monotheism, divine attributes, the greatness of the Qur'an and the status of believers and hypocrites in the Day of Resurrection are discussed, and according to Allameh Tabatabai, the main purpose of this surah is to encourage Muslims to spend in the way of God. In Surah Hadid, the story of some prophets such as Noah, Abraham and Jesus is discussed.
