Surah Al-Zuhi or Al-Zuhi is the ninety-third surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Quran, which is located in the thirtieth chapter. This surah is among the surahs that were revealed to the Prophet (PBUH). It has been mentioned about the honor of the revelation of Surah Al-Zuhi that this Surah was revealed after a period of time when the revelation was not revealed to the Prophet and the unbelievers were criticizing him that God had abandoned him. Surah Al-Zuhi addresses the Prophet and says that God has not abandoned you and counts the blessings of God on him and orders orphans and beggars to the Prophet and asks him to tell the people about God's blessings. In the virtue of reciting Surah Al-Zuhi, it is stated that whoever recites this Surah, intercession for that person on the Day of Judgment will be obligatory on the Prophet (PBUH) and he will receive a tenfold reward for all beggars and orphans.
