Introduction

More Info

Crazy Sevens is the Persian card game Haft-Khabis, "the dirty seven", a cousin of Crazy

Eights and Mau-Mau. Everyone gets seven cards. Match the pile by suit or number, draw when

you can't, and be the first to empty your hand. Watch out for the dirty cards.

♠ THE DIRTY CARDS

• 7: the next player draws two and loses the turn, unless they answer with a 7. Sevens

  stack: 2, 4, 6, 8.

• 8: a bonus. Play one more card at once, of the 8's suit or another 8.

• 10: the direction turns round.

• Jack: goes on anything, and you name the next suit.

• Ace: the next player is skipped.

• 2: pick someone to draw a card.

• Last card: tap "Last card!" before you go down to one. Forget, and you draw.

♠ 2, 3 OR 4 PLAYERS

Play head to head against one rival, or at a full table of four.

♠ YOUR HOUSE RULES

Every family plays it a little differently, so choose: the 8 as a bonus or a skip, the 2

active or plain, a jack on a 7, drawing until a card fits, 5 or 7 cards each, and the

last-card penalty.

♠ SCORING AND ELIMINATION

Whoever goes out scores nothing. Everyone else scores the cards left in hand: jack 20,

ace 11, king 4, queen 3, the rest their number. Go out on a jack and every score doubles. Pass the limit

and you are out; the last player standing wins.

♠ PICK YOUR RIVALS

Sit down with a cast of characters, each with their own skill. Some of them forget to call

their last card now and then.

♠ AND MORE

• Cards the rules don't allow stay dimmed, so you never misplay by accident.

• Resume any game exactly where you left it.

• Stats, a daily challenge and streak, and badges for going out on a jack.

• Several card decks and backs, and sound.
