Teaching the alphabet of the mother tongue language is considered one of the foundations of elementary education in all educational systems. Interactive, attractive, and creative games and experiences are necessary for the learning process of kids. One of the accompanying and complementary methods in the learning process is to add games and interaction to increase engagement, which can be done by developing augmented reality applications on smartphones. The AtayaAR app is an interactive experience with the same name as coloring books, which was developed to teach Persian literature based on Iranian fictional characters.
