Introduction

Origin

Baji Quan is a traditional Northern Chinese martial art system with roots tracing back to the Ming and Qing dynasties. It focuses on close-range power, body-contact striking, and explosive whole-body movement.
Training emphasizes structure, stepping transitions, and coordinated whole-body force developed through consistent repetition. Common practice includes foundational stepping, elbow and shoulder-based drills, and form training, highlighting direct movement and rhythmic variation.
Rather than pursuing exaggerated power or overly complex techniques, the training places emphasis on body integration and long-term, consistent practice.

Kung Fu Philosophy

Kung Fu is not something understood by watching —
it is built through practice.
By understanding your own body first,
you learn how to respond to change.
Everyone’s ability is different.
The goal of training is not to compare with others,
but to become better than who you were yesterday through consistent practice.
Ability exists for discipline and protection,
never for harming others.
Kung Fu is like a language — knowing the movements alone does not mean you can apply them;
it requires time to understand and consistent practice.
