Hissi is an on-demand peer-to-peer ridesharing and transportation network company based in Tehran. It develops, markets and operates the Hissi car transportation mobile app. Riders must download and install the Hissi mobile app to their iOS or Android-based phone, sign up and enter a valid phone number. Passengers can then request a ride from a nearby driver. Once confirmed, the app shows the driver's name, and photos of the driver and car data. After a ride is completed, drivers and passengers are given the opportunity to rate each other on a scale of 1 to 5 stars. Any driver averaging a low rating by users is dropped from the service.
