Surah Kahf is the eighteenth surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Qur'an, which is in the fifteenth and sixteenth parts of the Qur'an. Kahf means cave, and the reason why this surah is named Kahf is the story of the Companions of Kahf in it. Believing in the truth and doing righteous deeds is one of the recommendations of this surah to people. The story of the companions of the cave, the story of Moses and one of God's servants (Khidr), the story of Dhul-Qarnain and the story of the garden of two people are among the most important stories told in this surah.
