Please pray. Surah A'raf is the seventh surah and one of the Meccan surahs of the Qur'an, which is in the eighth and ninth parts of the Qur'an. This surah is called by this name because of the story of the Companions of Araf on the Day of Judgment. Surah Al-A'raf, like other Meccan surahs, focuses mostly on the discussion of origin and resurrection, proof of monotheism, judgment of resurrection, fight against polytheism, establishment of man's status and position in the world of creation. The purpose of this surah is also to strengthen the belief and the basics of faith in Muslims. Surah A'raf refers to the covenants that God took from humans on the path of guidance and goodness, including in the lower world, and to show the failure of nations that have deviated from the path of monotheism, to the history of previous nations and prophets such as Noah (pbuh), Lot (a) and Shoaib (a) pays. Verse 46 about the Companions of A'raf, verses 54 to 56 known as the Sukhrah verse and verse 172 known as the Covenant verse are among the famous verses of Surah A'raf. The virtue of reciting this surah is that every person who recites Surah A'raf; God will put an obstacle between him and Iblis and on the Day of Resurrection, He will make Adam (pbuh) his intercessor.
